Unknown numbers are the front door for scams
Most fraud in Southeast Asia now starts with a text or a call. A ten-second check of the number and the message stops most of it.

Can you tell me who owns a number?
No — and you should be wary of sites that claim to. Subscriber identities are protected by privacy and SIM-registration laws. We show what a number's structure reveals (country, original network, valid format) plus community scam patterns, which is usually all you need to decide whether to answer.
Why does my result say “original network”?
The Philippines and Vietnam both allow mobile number portability: you can switch carriers and keep your number. A 0917 number started on Globe but may be on Smart or DITO today. The prefix is still a strong hint, not a guarantee.
What does 093333 mean?
It is the name of this site. In the Philippines, 0933 is a Sun Cellular prefix (Smart group); in Vietnam, 093 is MobiFone's flagship range; in Taiwan, every mobile starts with 09. One string, three countries — which is exactly why checking context matters.
Do you store the numbers I check?
No. Lookups and text analysis run entirely in your browser. Only forms you choose to submit (reports, quotes, contest entries) are sent to us.
Where should I report a scam officially?
Philippines: call or text the CICC hotline 1326 or use eReport in the eGov app. Vietnam: text S/V/LD + the number + details to 156 (or 5656), or call 156. Taiwan: call 165. Then tell your bank or e-wallet immediately if money moved.
